Following its teaser filled day, Sega has made an announcement official that the video game developer will be bringing Puyo Puyo Tetris to Windows on Feb. 27.
Sega’s one-day teaser was fairly short lived, but with the launch date for Puyo Puyo Tetris just few weeks away, the developer has released a new trailer for its Windows version. The video shows off all of the features that come with the game, all look to be a faithful porting of the other console versions. One tiny tweak that’s highlighted is that the Japanese audio can be swapped for English.
Puyo Puyo Tetris mashes together the classic puzzlers Puyo Puyo and Tetris, forming them into multiple game modes that includes a story mode and challenges. Players can tackle the game solo or with up to four others people, in either competitive or cooperative play.
Sega will launch Puyo Puyo Tetris through both Steam and The Humble Store, with pre-orders costing $17.99, a 10-percent discount, plus exclusive digital wallpapers and avatars. Once the puzzle game releases, prices will bump back up to $19.99.
The hybrid puzzle game was released to Nintendo Switch and PS4 in April 2017, running $29.99 on Nintendo Switch for digital and $39.99 as a physical copy. PS4 owners can only get a physical version and costs $29.99.
