Publisher Annapurna Interactive announced that it’ll be releasing Jason Roberts’ illustrated and highly anticipated puzzle adventure game Gorogoa on Thursday, Dec. 14.

Coming to market after six years in development, Roberts created each of the “thousands” of hand-drawn illustrations from Gorogoa. Roberts takes players through a newer spin of the puzzle adventure, having them slide, stack, or zoom in and out of sets panels in order to solve a puzzles.

The newly released trailer shows how each of the puzzles from the game start off simply and move into deep complexity. One puzzle has panels shifting and zooming in so that bird can brush an apple from a tree branch into a bowl. At the video’s end, a much wider scope of Gorogoa offers is put on display, featuring a psychedelic eye sliding over several different items.

Gorogoa is set for its mobile debut on iOS at $4.99 and it’ll also be coming to Windows by way of Steam and GOG for $14.99. A Nintendo Switch version is also en route, but no word yet on pricing.
