Monument Valley 2 Gets November Android Release

Developer ustwo Games announced that its sequel to the M.C. Escher-inspired puzzle game Monument Valley will be heading to Android on Nov. 6.

Puzzlers on iOS have been exclusively enjoying Monument Valley 2 following its surprise release in June, following Apple’s Worldwide Developers’ Conference keynote. Monument Valley 2 has been open to pre-register in the Google Play store since late August, which will send players that do sign up a notification on the release date.

The sequel tells a story of a mother and daughter over 14 chapters that brings together all of the environmental and architectural elements that brought the first game so much notoriety. Developers also introduced several new puzzle mechanics that gave it plenty ways for players to manipulate, while exploring the beautiful new worlds..

While no official word has come down concerning pricing for Monument Valley 2, but ustwo Games is one of the companies that have the same for their games on Android as iOS so it should come in at $4.99.

The original Monument Valley debuted for iOS on April 3, 2014 and go on to win Apple’s design award that same year.
