Having announced that the title would be heading to mobile devices “soon” earlier this month, Capcom’s Puzzle Fighter has soft launched to Android and iOS.

Capcom has made the classic puzzle game available in to the App Store and Google Play for the markets in six countries: Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mexico, and Singapore. If anyone living in these countries will have access to download the game from their platform’s app store. The developer hasn’t made any indication when it will be expanding the title’s availability to additional markets, but if the company’s recent efforts are any indication the wait shouldn’t be long.

The announcement that Puzzle Fighter would be coming to mobile came as as surprise out of nowhere since Capcom hadn’t done anything with the cult classic series since launching Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix from PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 all the way back in 2007.

The original Puzzle Fighter game, Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, was first released in 1996 for arcades and the original PlayStation.
