Neo Angle is the next game coming from the makers behind the puzzler Blyss, Dropout Games, mixing a 1980’s theme and music with handcrafted puzzles.
The basics of Neo Angle is to have players guide Neo, the big neon triangle, through the mazes. As Neo move to the exit, players will have to pick up the pyramid fuel cells with the twist that precious spaces within the maze can’t be traveled over again. As levels progress, more puzzle elements are added, pushing players skills ever further.
Dropout Games has taken a different tact from its previous puzzle game effort, opting for handcrafted levels instead of computer generated ones. What this usually indicates are much more depth from the puzzle designs.
An Android version of the puzzle game was published some time ago, but co-founder of Dropout Games Ankush Madad has said it was more of a “demo.” For those that have tried Neo Angle out on Android, Madad has assured that it’s been “revamped completely for iOS.”
Neo Angle is available for download at the low retail price of $0.99 through Apple’s App Store.
