The game design studio behind classic puzzle games Myst and Riven, Cyan Inc., announced that they’ll be rounding out their latest title Obduction’s virtual reality offerings with an Aug. 29 release for PlayStation 4 with PSVR support.

Obduction will retail for $29.99 when it hits the PlayStation Store, coming with bonus themes and avatars for those that pre-order. With the exception of those pre-order extras, the PS4 version will be a faithful port of the title inserting no additional content.

Cyan hasn’t published to anything but desktops and mobile for a long time, Cyan CEO Rand Miller is rather taken with the upcoming launch.

“It’s been almost two decades since we created a product for console,” wrote Miller. “[We] couldn’t be happier about our return to PlayStation. We’ve been working really hard to craft a special Obduction experience for both PS4 and PSVR.”

The developer has been committed to the burgeoning VR scene, as its steadily rolling out support for all of the biggest hardware that’s on the market, including Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, and OSVR.

Obduction is a Kickstarter success story, having generated $1.3 million from over 22,000 backers. Cyan release the game three years later, bringing it to multiple platforms along with VR support.
